Joint Meeting of the PHS with the MPHS Severn Valley Railway Museum Kidderminster – convenor Clive Jones

We are to visit this historic venue in celebration of the 50^th Anniversary of the Midland (GB) Postal History Society.  The meeting room is on the first floor of the museum; regrettably, there is no wheelchair access.

Programme:

10.00 – 10.30am:  Coffee/tea biscuits on arrival.

10.30am:  ‘Earliest Worcestershire’ – Chris Jackson.

11.30am:  Members’ 2 or 3 board (9 sheets) displays.

1.00pm:  Buffet Lunch.

2.00pm: ‘Aspects of Warwickshire’ — Ian May.

3.00pm: Members’ 2 or 3 board (9 sheets) displays.

4.30pm:  Close.

The charge for the event will be £15, which includes a buffet lunch, anniversary cake and refreshments during the day.  Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!

Parking is available in the SVR car park adjacent (£4 per day), postcode DY10 1QX.  Alternatively, the main line station (to the left of the SVR station) has parking (£3.50 per day), postcode DY10 1QZ.
