Convenor

A new venue for 2025 at the Congregational Church on the High St in the historic Market Town of Oakham in Rutland.

We shall meet in the Congregational Church Hall, (LE15 6AJ) which is conveniently situated within a few minutes’ walk from Oakham railway station. There is also a large pay and display Carpark just around the corner.

We’ll gather for the meeting any time after 10.00 for tea, coffee etc. with a view to commencing at 10.30. Lunch arrangements are flexible. You can either bring your own food and drink and eat in, or pop out and buy sandwiches etc., or visit a nearby takeaway café, several of which are 2 minute’s walk from the venue.

Please bring material to display (though that isn’t obligatory).

Please email secretary@postalhistory.org.uk if you’re intending to come and whether you are able to offer a display, however small! For information, the display boards hold nine sheets comfortably or twelve if the sheets are A4 size and slightly overlap the edge of the board.

Logged in members may complete the booking form for this meeting.

Thank you and I look forward to us getting together again in May.
