The library is available for reference by members and those resident in the United Kingdom may borrow books and other items for up to two months. Certain books are only available for reference at the library. A library catalogue is available (please refer to the publications page). The Librarian will undertake any reasonable, bibliographical research on specific topics on request and photocopies will be supplied of any material considered relevant. The library is currently held at a location in Kent, however, a change of Librarian will take place during 2007 and when this occurs the library will be moved to a new address in Dorset. After the change takes place it is our intention to expand this section of the website by providing additional information about the contents of the library and the facilities offered to members. The Society has an extensive library of postal history publications, handbooks, Post Office guides, postal contracts, journals and related material built up over many years. It includes numerous titles that are currently out or print or difficult to locate.
